  4. Finally, hit “Send” and you’re done! The recipient will receive your proof of payment via email.

Bonus Tip: You can also send the proof to yourself and then forward it later if needed.

Downloading Proof of Payment (for the Tech-Savvy):

While the Capitec app allows you to view and send proof of payment, you can’t download it directly from the app.

But fear not, there’s a workaround!

  1. You’ll need to use Capitec Bank’s internet banking platform (accessible through a web browser on your computer).
